Week 3 Term 4

hi this week our class has been learning about poems. It is called a 5 w's poem and I did mine on snakes. I published it and put a cool picture of snakes behind my writing. A 5 w's poem is something that explains ; who ,what ,when , where, and why. These are really fun to write. I think it turned out great! Mrs D showed me how how to make it a background.  

My Holiday

On my holiday, I got a new fish. It's name is Shishy and it's a boy. I got the name from how I use to pronounce it when I was little. I also won some bendy pens at vacation care. I have made a bamboo Instrument at Riverway we got to design  anything we wanted to make. So that was really fun.  

Week 7

This week we had lots of fun with the grade 9’s. They came to the junior school to teach us some different sports I did soccer and basketball. I really liked soccer we played a half an hour game and my team won! We al so had the grade 11’s come to do some science with us and we blew up balloons and al so we did science on lollies but I didn’t really get it. So that’s some of the things I’ve done this week and I hope you enjoyed reading it!

Week 5

This week I have learnt a lot about the Olympics. We also have to do a project on a athlete I chose Cathy freeman, she was the first aboriginal to win a gold metal. So that’s a bit of what I’ve done this week.

I’d like to tell you a little bit about what I’m doing at school so here it goes….
This week I really liked working on myths, fractions and double doubles. The things I liked about myths were that they were all adventurous stories. The thing I really liked about fractions were that now I know what a fraction is.Because now I can split things in half eqaly.
